Emily Cisz
Emily began her Circle of Friends experience in 2013 as a parent when she and her husband, Adam, enrolled their oldest son in the 3 year old class. In 2014-2015, Emily was an active volunteer and member of the board and had a child in both the 3’s and the 4’s class. Her children are now ages 6 and 8.

When Emily’s oldest son started kindergarten, she began volunteering regularly in the elementary classroom. She loved helping out and working with children so much that she has continued volunteering in kindergarten weekly for the past 3 years. Emily thoroughly enjoys being around children, making connections and actively seeks out opportunities to do so.

Over the past three years, Emily kept in touch with the teachers at Circle of Friends and occasionally assisted her friends with drop off and pick up of their own preschoolers attending the preschool.

Emily is excited to start a new journey with COF as the 4 year old teacher’s aide.

Sara Matlik

Sara was first introduced to Circle of Friends in 2006, and has had 3 children
attend the preschool. Sara has been a chair mom, registrar, and school board
president at COF, and this has given her insight into the operation of the
school, and a great appreciation for the cooperative approach between the
staff and the families.
Sara has been a regular volunteer in the elementary classrooms in the Greece
school district. She enjoys participating in the schools, helping the teachers
as needed, seeing the children grow throughout the year, and learning about
each child’s individual personality.
Returning to Circle of Friends feels like coming back to a family, and Sara is
looking forward to starting a new adventure as the 3 year old teacher’s
aide. She can’t wait to get to know each new family!
